Why look for a Releasit alternative?
Releasit has more than 2,400 reviews on the Shopify App Store, and it does a lot. People look elsewhere for a few concrete reasons:
- The free plan stops at 60 orders a month. Beyond that, the next plan is Premium at $11.49 a month for up to 420 orders.
- The price follows your volume. Each higher order allowance is a higher plan, up to $69.99 a month for unlimited orders.
- They want one app for the form and the store. Releasit’s listing doesn’t include a store or landing page builder.
If none of these apply to you, Releasit is a sound choice and you may not need to switch.
How do the free plans compare?
Releasit’s Forever Free plan covers up to 60 orders a month. It includes the drag-and-drop form, upsells, downsells and quantity offers, basic fraud prevention, address validation, cart recovery, Google Sheets and ad pixels.
EverCore’s Free plan has no monthly order limit, and every COD Form feature is on it: popup or embedded forms, delivery prices per wilaya or country, quantity offers and upsells, spam protection, Google Sheets with a separate abandoned-orders sheet, pixels and Conversion APIs for Meta, TikTok and Snap, and COD Analytics.
The difference shows when an ad takes off. At 30 orders a day, Releasit’s free allowance lasts two days. EverCore’s doesn’t run out.
What does Releasit do that EverCore doesn’t?
- OTP verification. Releasit can confirm the buyer’s phone number with a one-time code by SMS or WhatsApp before the order goes through. EverCore doesn’t send codes; it filters orders with block lists and limits instead. If code verification is central to how you cut fake orders, Releasit fits better today.
- More upsell types. Releasit lists post-purchase and one-click upsells and downsells, plus A/B testing of one-click upsells on its Unlimited plan. EverCore’s upsells are tick-boxes above the order button.
- Track record. Releasit has the Built for Shopify badge, 4.9 stars from 2,438 reviews and has been on the App Store since 2021. EverCore has no reviews yet.
- More listed integrations and support. Releasit lists a Pinterest pixel, address validation and 24/7 support, with live chat on paid plans.
What does EverCore do that Releasit doesn’t?
- No order cap on the free plan. You don’t move to a paid plan as your order count grows.
- Stores and pages built by AI. On the Pro plan ($14.99 a month after a 5-day free trial), EverCore builds full stores and product pages from your product or an AliExpress link, inside a theme you already have. Landing pages cost 30 credits each and can be written in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and six Arabic dialects, with a full right-to-left layout.
How do you switch from Releasit to EverCore?
- Install EverCore from the Shopify App Store. The Free plan starts right away.
- Set up your form: layout, fields, and delivery prices per wilaya or country.
- Recreate your quantity offers and upsells in the Offers tab.
- Reconnect Google Sheets and your pixels in Integrations & Pixels.
- To test first, use Visibility to show EverCore on a few products only. When you’re ready, turn off Releasit’s form and switch on the EverCore COD app embed, so each product shows one form.
- Place a test order from a Test device and check it under Orders in Shopify.
The step-by-step setup is in How to add a COD form to Shopify.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Releasit if you want OTP verification by SMS or WhatsApp, post-purchase upsells, or an app with a long review history, and your volume fits its plans.
Choose EverCore if you want a free COD form with no monthly order limit, or one app that also builds your store, product pages and landing pages.
